Fathima is located on the riverfront drag in central Vientiane. It serves Indian Food. Consequently, it has several vegetarian options, which is what drew us to the place.

We both got a vegetarian meal of flat bread and various toppings. Jen, who has done a stint in India, thought it was very good. I also liked it, but without India experience my opinion carries lesser weight.

It was pricey at 100,000 Kip for both meals. There are many other dishes to choose from, though, so you could probably shave some cost if you wanted.

So, it’s a place that serves good food, and that has many vegetarian options, but that is still pricey like all the other tourist-oriented joints near the riverfront.
