The Kasemsarn Hotel is located in central Chanthaburi. The building has three floors, with the lobby and restaurant on the first floor.
We got a deluxe room for 1380 baht a night. The room had a queen sized bed, bathroom with shower and Western toilet, air conditioning, and small refrigerator. It was clean and reasonably sized. There was a little noise from the doors opening and closing in nearby rooms, but it was not too bad.
What you get at this place is your basic, decent hotel room – clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. It’s not luxurious, and it’s not a bungalow, but it doesn’t suck.
Breakfast was included with our room, which consisted of three options. We got the Western breakfast, minus the meats. The coffee was incredibly bad. The rest of the meal was unremarkable.
There aren’t many options for accommodations in Chanthaburi. This may be the best of the lot.
