Hotel St. Mortiz is located just a short walk west of Queenstown’s center.  It is a five-star hotel with solid customer reviews.  We stayed here one night in what the hotel calls a One Bedroom Alpine Suite.  Our cost was NZ $398.

The hotel is a typical upper-end place: valet parking, robes, and slippers.  The suite was clean, well-furnished, large, and comfortable.  It had a kitchenette, a living area, and a bathroom.  The bathroom had a shower, bath tub, sink, and toilet.  The bedroom had a king-sized bed.  The living area was equipped with sofa, dining table, and flat-screen television.

Our suite was at the end of the hallway.  It was generally quiet, although we occasionally heard sounds from the room above us.

We didn’t eat in the hotel restaurant, so we can’t speak to its quality.

Other than the large size of the suite and its kitchenette, there was nothing that made Hotel St. Moritz really stand out in either a positive or negative light.  It had the traits normally associated with a hotel of this cost and rating.

Would we stay here again?  Probably.
