Fiddle Stciks

This restaurant and bar has a prime location east of Hagley Park, on the corner of Worcester Boulevard and Montreal Street.  It’s a very short walk from the Canterbury Museum, Christchurch Art Gallery, and the Botanic Gardens.

We stopped here twice for drinks and appetizers.  Dan had draft beers. Jen had the red sangria, a restaurant specialty, which she thought was very good.  We tried three appetizers, which were decent but not spectacular.  The service was attentive and friendly, and the pricing was competitive with other places we visited in Christchurch.

We did not have a full meal here, and cannot speak to the restaurant as a place for dinner.  But for a couple drinks, it’s a good stop in the perfect location.
