This is the best restaurant we visited in New Zealand.
There are several vegetarian and vegan options, including a daily vegan special. Most things can be made gluten free.
The quality of the food is great, as are the portions and presentation. The prices are competitive. The staff is friendly and efficient. The coffees are good. Locals dine here.
The one negative is that the restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch. It closes at 4:30pm. We had opportunity to wish it was open for dinner.
If you are in Te Anau, this is the place to eat.
