We have a fondness for Firefly Restaurant in Noe Valley. It’s where we had our first date. So, it seemed fitting to head there for dinner on our last night in San Francisco before heading overseas.
Unfortunately, Firefly has fallen down a notch or two. There is now only one vegan main course option, and there are no fully vegan desert options. The one vegan main course is a plate of sautéed vegetables and tofu pieces over a bed of soba noodles. Pretty original idea, huh? I reckon that as vegetables over noodles go, it’s OK.
It’s kinda sad to see a place that was once so good, and that holds such a great memory, head downhill.
Can’t really recommend Firefly as an option for vegans anymore.
