This place is listed as a mid-range option in Lonely Planet.

It ran us 908 baht for a “deluxe” room with a queen bed and private bath.

It’s located 4 kilometers from the train station, and cost us 150 baht to get between the two on the first day; 200 baht on the second day.

There is a breakfast included, which is buffet style with lots of options (less options for vegetarians and vegans, although they made us a fried rice at request).

The hotel has a monkey theme, which makes sense given the troupe of monkeys running around downtown Lopburi. Of course, the hotel’s predominantly chimpanzee monkey statues don’t match the native monkeys, but a monkey is a monkey, I guess.

The hotel is located on a very busy street, without much of interest nearby.

The room we had was run down a bit. Shower was a hand held rig without a wall mount. Towel rack detached from the wall. And so on.

Overall, the condition, cost, distance from the more interesting downtown area, and location on a busy street make it not a recommended accommodation. Try something else.

Ok…I took a lot of bathroom photos.  But I figure they tell you how things are.
