Well, we are in New Sukhothai. Got here two days ago after taking a taxi from the Bangkok airport to the Bangkok train station; a train from Bangkok to Lopburi for the night; a train from Lopburi to Phitsanulok; and finally a bus from Phitsanulok to New Sukhothai.
The first 48 hours were planes, trains, and automobiles; with only about 5 hours of sleep. Thus the overnight stop in Lopburi.
Yesterday, we got our tourist on, and headed to the Sukhothai ruins with all the corn-fed tourists waddling around the place. Hey, but they got these big, old Buddhas…so what ya gonna do?
Tomorrow, we are thinking about heading somewhere new.
We have much to write and many photos to post, but haven’t gotten to it just yet. Soon.
