This restaurant is located in Gibraltar’s Casemates Square.
We stopped here because they had some vegetarian options on the menu, and ordered a vegetarian pizza, vegetarian brochette, some potato wedges, and a couple draft beers.
The pizza was a flop, with sauce that tasted like tomato soup. It had corn on it, which is something we haven’t seen before, and frankly hope to not see again.
The brochette was decent, although different, given that the bread was thick-and-soft rather than the thin-and-toasted normally encountered.
The potato wedges were made from potatoes, so that worked out.
The best thing we ordered was the beer.
The portions are good sized, but the food at the Lord Nelson is just not very good. If we ever head back to Gibraltar, we’ll try a different restaurant.
